One of the most exciting releases of 2024 comes from a tiny parcel of 20yo Sauvignon Blanc tucked between Hannes Storm's prized Vrede Pinot vineyard.
More towards Sancerre in style than many SA Sauvs, but not entirely so. Wild Air presents the same elegance and restraint of contemporary Sancerre but with the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley's signature minerality and satin-like texture.
Expect ripe grapefruit and hints of flint on the nose with a candied lemon and rosemary palate that is redefining what South African Sauvvy B can be.
